In Parliament said about the preparation of the coup in Ukraine on independence Day

Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from party "Oppositional platform For life," Ilya Kiva, said the TV channel NewsOne, the former President of the country Petro Poroshenko plans to carry out a coup in Ukraine independence Day August 24.

"Poroshenko is funding nationalist groups, preparing them to March on the independence Day, which should develop into a confrontation with the government and end the coup," - says the Deputy.

According to him, the former Ukrainian leader will take "several administrative buildings, perhaps even the President's Office" and to demand early elections and the President and the Parliament.

Kiva said that to participate in the revolution will be people who "have the desire and experience to overthrow the government", while Ukrainian media will cover it as a democratic process.

"But neither the people, nor to the idea of this story is irrelevant. Poroshenko just wants to remain unpunished, to seize power and continue the path of crime in relation to Ukraine. Because he realizes that the only way to escape punishment and to keep the stolen funds and assets is to have a coup", - concluded the Deputy.

Previously, Kiva has already said about the alleged impending Poroshenko coup that "will end a presidency" of Vladimir Zelensky, however, he claimed that the overthrow of the government is planned for the autumn.

The main Kiev square - Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence square) - was occupied by supporters of European integration November 21, 2013, immediately after the statement of the government Mykola Azarov to suspend the signing of the Association agreement with the EU. Later Maidan became the epicenter of confrontation between security forces and radicals. Responsible for the death of over 100 people for the new Ukrainian authorities laid on his political opponent, ex - President Viktor Yanukovych and interior Ministry special forces "Berkut".
