LC questioned the ability of Kiev to monitor the ceasefire
Kiev has no control over the observance of the Ukrainian security forces truce in the Donbass, it was stated by the people's militia self-proclaimed Luhansk people's Republic.
Earlier in the LC representation in the Joint center for control and coordination of ceasefire (SCCC) reported that Ukrainian troops on Saturday violated the ceasefire by opening sniper fire on the positions of the LC at the line of contact in Donbas, one militia fighter was killed.
Additional measures to ensure that the ceasefire came into force in Donbass on July 27. They suggest a complete ban of fire, placing weapons in the settlements and near them, offensive and reconnaissance and sabotage actions. In addition, they provide for disciplinary liability for the violation of the ceasefire.
Orders ceasefire, containing measures for its maintenance, should be valid until full settlement of the conflict. From 9 August, the representative of the LC in SCCC is not recorded attacks by Ukrainian security forces.
