Dubai international airport began to use dogs for detecting COVID-19

Dubai authorities now attract dogs and dog handlers to help in the fight against coronavirus at the airport, according to Travel and Leisure.

The task of the dog is to, literally, sniff passengers suffering from coronavirus. In the course of the research the accuracy of smell was 92 percent.

Scent dogs are sharper than a human many times, so it is often used to find bombs or drugs.

Training dogs to detect the coronavirus that causes severe and prolonged. This requires a lab, special equipment and sweat of infected people.

Dubai airport first decided to use dogs to combat coronavirus. They will work remotely without coming into contact with people.

Dubai was opened to tourists in July. From travelers need help about the negative result on the COVID-19, obtained not earlier than 96 hours prior to travel.
