According to him, the patient may experience malaise, shortness of breath, lethargy, sudden anxiety, facial flushing, blanching of the skin. In addition, there are dilated pupils, and frequent loss of consciousness, said Trifonov.

The specialist noted that in heart failure, which can lead to death, also there are drastic changes.

"The main prior to death symptoms — this change of skin color from flesh tone to the blue, cold extremities, convulsions. Can stand out the foam from the mouth, said the cardiologist.

However, he added that the patient can also experience swelling of the extremities and fever.

Previously, scientists have found a new indicator of the risk of death in patients with heart failure. According to a study published in the journal of the ESC Heart Failure, it may specify the size of the pupil.
