In Uruchye district of Minsk started detention of protesters
The protesters detained in the Minsk district Uruchcha in the North-East of Minsk, reports Sputnik of Belarus.
"Near houses on Uruchcha, EPAM around the building, gathered a small number of people. Motor traffic is partially blocked. Some gathered detained", - is spoken in the message RIA "Novosti".
According to the Agency, at the sight of militiamen, the protesters trying to hide in the yards and porches of nearby houses. People are chanting with shared balconies.
The ninth of August in Belarus presidential elections were held. According to specified data of the CEC, incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko is gaining 80,08% of the vote. He has led the country for over 26 years.
On the evening of the same day in a number of Belarusian cities began mass unauthorized protest. Protesters in Central Minsk erecting barricades out of garbage cans. The militia used against them tear gas, water cannons and stun grenades, and drove the protesters from the city centre. As a result of the actions of the opposition were arrested about 3 thousand people, injured about 100 people, reported the interior Ministry of Belarus. The next day, according to official data of the interior Ministry, detained for another two thousand.
