"Already answered". Trump responded to Chinese sanctions against the United States

The President of the United States Donald trump argues that States have responded to the sanctions of the PRC.

"We have already answered," trump said in response to a question at a press conference.

China had previously announced that it has decided to impose sanctions on 11 us officials in response to sanctions on Hong Kong, among the sanctioned senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.

In turn, the US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo promised to respond to sanctions.

"You can be sure that the United States will evaluate them, answer them and help the Communist party to understand that against America and Americans can't take action without President, trump responded," said Pompeo in an interview with Newsmax.

Earlier, the US Treasury imposed sanctions against 11 high-ranking officials in mainland China and Hong Kong. The list includes the head of administration of Hong Kong Carrie Lam, the police chief of Hong Kong is Chris Tang, Secretary for security John Lee, the Minister of justice Teresa Cheng, Director of the office for Affairs of Hong Kong and Macao under the state Council of China Xia BAOLONG, the head of the office of the Central government of the PRC in Hong Kong, Luo Huining and other.
