"The interior Ministry fully controls the situation in Minsk and other regional cities," - said in an online broadcast of the Agency.
Presidential elections in Belarus were held on Sunday. According to preliminary data of exit poll, incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko is gaining 79.7% of the second place Svetlana Tikhanovski from 6.8%. In some cities of Belarus started an unauthorized protest. In Minsk, the security forces used stun grenades, tear gas and water cannons.
