Presents scenarios of attack by the DPRK on South Korea
American analytical center RAND introduced the report, which contained the scenarios of possible attacks by the DPRK on South Korea with artillery.
The document offers five scenarios:
As noted in the report, the number of victims when implementing the described scenarios varies from 400 to 17 thousand people, and victims — from 4,5 thousand to over 200 thousand people.
The authors come to the conclusion that such a catastrophic impact should make the U.S. and South Korea try to avoid cyclical military provocations that could lead to similar attacks.
