In Minsk have detained the Trustee Tikhanovski

Trustee of candidate for President of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovski Andrew smolanczuk and his wife detained by police, reported RIA Novosti on Friday, the politician's press-Secretary Anna krasulina.

"Andrew smolenchuk arrested today along with his wife, Jeanne Crumb. They are in the police Department of Zavadski district of Minsk," - said krasulina.

The reasons for the arrest of two supporters Tikhanovski her press Secretary is unknown. She suggests that this may be due to the fact that "on August 9, all the Trustees (Tikhanovski – ed.) planned to run for observation on polling stations, so it's harder to put parcels than ordinary observers."

"I hope it (arrest – ed.) - tactical move and their soon to be released", - said the Agency interlocutor.

RIA Novosti has no comment law enforcement regarding the detention of Smolanczuk and Crumb.

Presidential elections in Belarus scheduled for August 9, Tuesday, started early voting.
