Some unemployed have offered to pay ten thousand roubles

Parliamentarians from the liberal democratic party in the Duma introduced a bill which proposed to provide disabled citizens who care for people with disabilities, the right to receive monthly payments in the amount of 10 thousand rubles, said one of the authors of the project, the head of the Duma Committee on labour and social policy Yaroslav Nilov in his Telegram channel.

The authors of the project were also made by Vice-speaker of the state Duma Igor Lebedev, deputies Dmitry Svishchev, Nikita Berezin and Senator Sergey Leonov.

In the explanatory note the authors note that unemployed able-bodied persons caring for a disabled or elderly person, there is the provision of monthly compensation payments. From 1 July 2008, the monthly compensation payment established in the amount of 1200 rubles indexation decree is not provided.

At the same time, indicate the parliamentarians, persons caring for disabled children and disabled since childhood receive monthly payment for care from 1 July 2019 in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. Indexation is also not available.

"Such a huge difference in the size of payments to individuals caring for a group I disability and disabled since childhood of I group, causes social tension, a sense of social injustice," say the authors of the bill.

To Finance these expenditures are proposed at the expense of the Federal budget. The introduction of the Federal law into force is provided since January 1, 2021.
