Examination of experiencing vaccine COVID-19 in Moscow state medical University confirmed its safety
The last inspection of volunteers who have experienced a vaccine against coronavirus infection in Sechenovskiy University was in normal mode, everything feels good, back to normal, told RIA Novosti Director of the Institute for translational medicine and biotechnology sechenovskiy University Vadim Tarasov.
Earlier, the head of the Center for clinical studies of medicines sechenovskiy University Elena Smolyarchuk has told RIA Novosti that the volunteers must come to the examination on the 42nd day after administration of the vaccine.
He noted that the volunteers who received the vaccine twice, later center Gamalei will assess the degree of immunity compared to the group that received only one vaccination.
Clinical trials of the vaccine developed by the National research centre of epidemiology and Microbiology named Gamalei, began in Sechenovskiy University on June 18. In the course of the study, which involved 38 volunteers, confirmed the safety of the vaccine. It was noted that all experiencing of the vaccine develop immunity to infection. The first group of volunteers was discharged 15 July, the second on 20 July.
