Media: Microsoft has suspended talks on the acquisition of TikTok

Earlier, the New York Times, also citing sources, reported that the American IT giant Microsoft is negotiating with ByteDance on the acquisition of the service TikTok. Subsequently, trump said that it plans to ban in USA TikTok. Bloomberg also reported that at least one major company except for Microsoft, as well as investors interested in purchasing the Chinese ByteDance stake in the social network TikTok.
According to the WSJ, the talks are not completed, the parties await the announcement of the position of the White house. A White house spokesman said Saturday that the administration continues to assess future policy against the Chinese apps and suggests that TikTok can be a threat to national security.
