In Yerevan said about the inferiority complex of Ukraine

Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan believes that Ukraine has a complexity in the perception of the essence of the Karabakh conflict.

Previously the foreign Ministry of Ukraine issued a statement about the July escalation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, which States that Kiev in favor of a political settlement based on respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan within its internationally recognized borders. It also indicates the need to continue the search for a peaceful solution to the Karabakh conflict based on the resolutions of the UN Security Council, on the implementation of a number of provisions which insists Azerbaijan.

According to him, Yerevan in the past two years has been consistent performance with the Ukrainian side. "With the friendly people of Ukraine we have no complexes, no issues, and we will continue to work in this direction", - said the Minister. He added that Yerevan informs Kiev the position of the Armenian side.

"We are patient and will continue to do so. But will continue to be considered an unacceptable position, detached from reality, based on such universal approaches. It will not bring any benefit neither the region nor them, nor us," - said the Minister.

The conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh began in February 1988 when Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous region announced its secession from the Azerbaijan SSR. In the course of the armed conflict in 1992-1994, Azerbaijan lost control over Nagorno-Karabakh and seven adjacent districts. Since 1992 negotiations on peaceful settlement of the conflict within the OSCE Minsk group, headed by three co - chairs-Russia, USA and France.
