Tikhanovski surprised at the accusations of ties with detained Russians
The candidate in presidents of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovski said that her husband Sergei, who is now in jail, "with great surprise," found out about the new accusations against him.

She said that on Thursday and Friday her husband in jail was visited by the lawyers, "no investigation for about a month."
Tikhanovski and a number of his supporters have been detained since the end of may after the picket in Grodno, where there was an incident with two police officers in a criminal case under article "organization and preparation of activities that breach public order". Later the Investigative Committee of Belarus reported about initiation of proceedings against Tikhanovski on the fact of incitement to violent action against law enforcement officers, as well as on the fact of preparation of mass riots. Moreover, in the framework of the criminal case of mass riots more than 30 of the Russians detained in Minsk as "foreign militants, a private company Wagner".
The foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation said that the group arrested in Belarus Russians was in transit through Minsk to Istanbul, having on hand all necessary documents, including tickets and logistics was provided by the Belarusian company.
