In the Kremlin told about the prospects not included in the Constitution amendment
The idea of constitutional amendments, which were not considered in the basic law, will choose for inclusion in legislation on the basis of their relevance and appropriateness, the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.
Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin instructed the Cabinet of Ministers together with the working group on the Constitution to present ideas on changes to the legislation regarding the proposals that were not included in the new version of the Constitution.
"On the basis of maximum reasonability and actuality. Will work lawyers, professionals. To analyze what is truly important and what is not. How it fits the development. This is what can and should be the criteria," - said Peskov in response to the question on what basis the government will choose among the suggestions needed.
The initiative to amend the Constitution was made by the head of state Vladimir Putin, filling the message to the Federal Assembly on 15 January 2020. Changes on the new requirements set out by the President, Cabinet members and government officials of different levels, consolidate the social guarantees of the state to the citizens, to change the terms of reference of the Parliament, prohibits the alienation of Federal territories, establish the status of the Russian language. In addition, the amendments allow the incumbent President to run again for the post in 2024.
Voting on amendments to the basic law of the Russian Federation took place from 25 June to 1 July, they were supported and entered into force on 4 July.
