In the U.S. Senate introduced a bill on the annual military assistance to Ukraine

A group of senators representing the Republican and Democratic party, introduced a bill which provides for an annual allocation of $ 300 million to Ukraine for military assistance, including the provision of lethal weapons.

In addition, the document provides for the allocation of $ 4 million per year on training Ukrainian officers.

Currently, the line of the Pentagon is annually allocated approximately $ 250 million in military assistance to Ukraine. The senators thus want to consolidate financial obligations of the United States in the form of a separate law.

The document also demands that the US administration appointed a special envoy to Ukraine as U.S. representative at the peace talks in the Normandy format and facilitated dialogue between the black sea countries.

In addition, the bill encourages the state Department to establish a working group on Ukraine with European allies.
