Rostec presented a new screening system on the basis of KAMAZ

Rostec presented to the Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation and Federal customs service new individual screening complex (IDK) on the chassis of KAMAZ, the correspondent of RIA Novosti.

The event was attended by the CEO of Rodeja Sergey Chemezov, Minister of transport Eugene Dietrich and Director of the FCS Vladimir Bulavin. During the presentation, rostec and the Ministry of transport signed a cooperation agreement.

"Today is a brand new complex, we took into account all the wishes of the Federal customs service and localization of this complex is very high - slightly more than 80%. We changed the platform - if it was a Scania, but now we put it on the platform of KAMAZ", - said Chemezov during the launch of the new IDK.

According to him, this development is interested Rosatom, Federal customs service, the border service of FSB of Russia. In addition, recently we signed the first export contract to supply it in one of foreign countries.

This complex development of the concern Ruselectronics (included in "rostec") allows to detect undeclared goods and prohibited goods: weapons, ammunition, explosives and narcotics.

New IDK "see" the contents of the container or vehicle body including through the steel with thickness up to 350 mm. Software complexes recognize four groups of materials - organic, inorganic, heavy and light metals, and can also assess the weight of all cargo, and its individual parts, with an accuracy of up to 10%.
