Moscow has urged the EU to draw attention to the problem of water supply of the Crimea

The European Union is relaying accusations of Ukraine against Russia should pay attention to the actions of Kiev to cut off the supply of the Crimea, said the Deputy Director of the Department and press of the Russian foreign Ministry Alexei Zaitsev.

"With regard to violations of international law, in which we once again accuses the European Union, we are just seeing the side of the Kiev authorities. In this regard, the European Union proposed instead to relay allegations of Ukraine to Russia to pay due attention to the inhumane actions of Kiev to cut off water and electricity supplies to the Crimea", - said Zaitsev at the briefing.

He noted that Moscow drew attention to the statement by the press Secretary of the foreign service held in connection with the July 20 groundbreaking ceremony of two amphibious assault ships at the shipyard in Kerch on the Crimean Peninsula.

"Consider it as another attempt to interfere in the internal Affairs of another state. Dubbed the European external action service abstracts again demonstrate the inability to soberly assess the situation in the region realities and indifference to the legitimate interests and aspirations of the inhabitants of the Crimea", - said Zaitsev.

"I would like to emphasize that our policy of strengthening the defense capability of the Russian Navy is designed to promote stability and security," he added.

Earlier, the European Union made a statement that the construction of amphibious ships in the Kerch evidence of "militarization" of the Crimea and has a negative impact on regional security in the Black sea.
