Vucic praised the timing of the receipt of the vaccine from COVID-19

The President of Serbia Alexander Vucic expects a vaccine COVID-19 in November-December this year and believes the current epidemiological situation in the country improved, as reported in the appeal on Thursday.

According to the latest data of the Serbian Ministry of health, since the beginning of the pandemic until 15.00 (16.00 MSK) environment was identified 24 892 infected with coronavirus, of which 372 - for the previous day. Just died 558 people, of whom seven are for the previous 24 hours. Hospitalized 4.5 thousand patients, and 143 connected to devices of artificial ventilation of the lungs.

Vucic said earlier that Serbia is negotiating with the "one country" on receiving a vaccine against the coronavirus, which is the country, he said, already applying after completed testing. He expressed hope that Belgrade will be one of the first to receive the vaccine before end of the year.

"I am confident that soon we the second time (after the may weakening of the pandemic – ed.) will be able almost completely to win. The situation in our hospitals is much easier. In most of them the number of hospitalized less, rates are better – we are talking about the percentage infected. Today till 10.00 (11.00 Moscow time) the results were better than yesterday," said the Serbian President.

"We expect to end the year, with the problems that are there, and in the further presence of the coronavirus that in late November or early December, get a vaccine which will solve our problems," said the Serbian leader.

Members of the national crisis headquarters of the Serbian anti-coronavirus said on 15 July that the country's authorities are in contact in connection with the development of a vaccine against COVID-19 researchers and manufacturers in UK, USA, Russia and China.
