Ex-COP on the case Golunova has filed the final charge
Former police officers involved in the case about the planted journalist Ivan Golunov drugs, began to get acquainted with the indictment, told RIA Novosti lawyer Alexey Kovrizhkin.
"Today my client Lyakhovets was charged in the final version," - said the Agency interlocutor.
In late January, the court arrested under three articles of the criminal code of five ex-police officers. Former operatives of Department of internal Affairs on the Western administrative district of Moscow Akbar All, Roman Feofanov, Maxim Umetbaev and their former chief, major Igor lyakhovets is still in jail, and Denis Konovalov, who testified on the Lyakhovets and said that on his orders threw Golunova drugs, was subsequently placed under house arrest.
All of them are accused of excess of powers of office (article 286 of the criminal code), falsification of results of operational search activities (article 303 of the criminal code) and trafficking of drugs (article 228 of the criminal code).
Golunova was detained in Moscow on 6 June 2019, as claimed by the police, with mephedrone, but later the prosecution was canceled "due to lack of evidence of his involvement" in the crime. The journalist said that the drugs were planted on him. Subsequently, a number of police officers paid with their posts in the scandal, but against five of them opened a criminal case.
