GP asked to withdraw from Arashukova property almost 1.5 billion rubles
The Prosecutor General's office presented to the family of ex-Senator Rauf Arashukov a civil claim for exemption to the state of the property almost 1.5 billion rubles, the press service of the Ministry.
"The General Prosecutor of the Russian Federation has demanded to withdraw and pay in state income the property of the former member of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Rauf Arashukov and his family", - stated in the message.
It is noted that the period spent in various positions in public authorities and local government Raul by Arshukova and Rauf Arashukov acquired 75 properties, including five flats and nine houses, three-storey hotel "adiyuh Palace", a restaurant, a bath complex, seven land plots, 14 vehicles and other luxury items.
"When wages Raul Arashukov for the period from 2007 to 2017 in the amount of 65 million 917 thousand rubles, and Rauf Arashukov for the period from 2009 to 2018 – 15 million 651 thousand 125 roubles, they acquired the property on 1 billion 469 million 127 thousand 512 rubles," the report States.
The Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation underline that to conceal the fact of the possession of substantial financial means, the said property was recorded on family, personal drivers and security guards. Legal sources of income, which would enable the latter to purchase them was on real estate and vehicles do not exist.
Given the established circumstances, the General Prosecutor of the Russian Federation presented to Arashukova civil action about the treatment of the identified property in the state. Currently, the claim is sent to the Supreme court with a petition for change of jurisdiction, as its objective consideration of the place of registration of the defendants impossible.
