The Minister of resorts of Kuban spoke about the tourist spots of the region
To complement a beach holiday on the black sea resorts of Krasnodar Krai tourists will be interested in visiting mountain regions of the Western Caucasus, private wineries and farms, as well as ethnographic settlements, said in an interview with RIA Novosti, the Minister of resorts, tourism and the Olympic heritage of the region Svetlana Balayeva.
Earlier, the Minister told the news Agency that the holiday resorts of the Krasnodar region, despite the situation with coronavirus and late start to the season, has not risen, and the preconditions for rise in prices are not. She also noted that the region expects over the summer to take 7 million tourists, and then to obtain a substantial flow of tourists in the autumn season.
"Of course, the Kuban often come for a holiday by the sea. Of course, the coast two warm seas – the pride of Krasnodar region, but we can offer much more. First of all, the foothills and mountainous areas of the Western Caucasus, which surprise with its beauty even experienced travelers coming here from all over the world. Here are these natural pearls: Sochi national Park and Caucasian biosphere reserve, a nature reserve Utrish, Hot Key. And outdoor enthusiasts should visit on the Lagonaki plateau, in GUAM gorge, take a trip to the summer resorts of Krasnaya Polyana," - said Balaev.
In addition, she noted that after the lifting of restrictions previously introduced the pandemic is increased interest in agricultural tourism.
"Kuban – the main agricultural region of the country, and opportunities for agricultural tourism, we have the richest. Today we can offer our guests fishing, horseback riding, visits to fruit orchards, vineyards, livestock farms, where you can log in to the unhurried pace of rural life," added the Minister.
According to her, the region is Cossack culture, and culture of peoples of the Caucasus.
"If you want to visit a real Cossack village, listen to old songs, to see trick riding and traditional rituals, try the Kuban borsch, be sure to go to the ethnographic complex "Ataman". It is located in Taman Temryuk district. And in Anapa you can visit the "Circassian village", where tourists are offered to get acquainted with the ancient and unique culture of the Caucasian people", - said Balaev.
She also said that in recent years the area has attracted a lot of interest in gastronomy and ecotourism, citing the example of one of the most popular places - Abrau-Dyurso near Novorossiysk.
"In recent years here, a whole complex built around scenic mountain lakes and the legendary factory of sparkling wines. There are opportunities for active and family holidays, tours and excursions. Similar objects have now in many areas of the province. First of all, in Anapa, Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, Temryuk, Yeisk and Crimean areas. You can name a few most known: "the Valley of Lefkadia", "Gai Kodzor", "Wine village" estate, "Sikora", "Manor Myskhako", "Estate holubyts'ke", and also many of the private wineries, which have become a very popular tourist objects" - told the Minister.
According to the Ministry of resorts of Kuban, the region has about 600 objects of tourism interest, available 280 sightseeing and tourist routes.
