Yaroslavl region was included into number of leaders of the Central Federal district on the index of industrial production
Yaroslavl oblast entered the top five leaders in the Central Federal district in index of industrial production which following the results of the first half made up 106.1%, which was 9.6% higher than the national average, said the Governor of the region Dmitry Mironov.
"The index of industrial production in the Yaroslavl region in the first half of the year compared to the same period last year made up 106.1%. This is 9.6% higher than the national average. We are in fifth place in the Central Federal district and on the 16th in the Russian Federation", - Mironov wrote on his page on the social network Facebook.
"During the crisis we did not allow the downtime of the backbone enterprises, the region's economy continues to develop. Some production quickly moved to the issue of demand and anticorrosiveness import-substituting goods," he said.
According to him, showed a positive trend enterprises producing vehicles and equipment (growth by 72%), drugs and medical devices (66%), fabricated metal products (19%), food products (9.5 per cent), electrical equipment (6.8 percent).
"Our region needs a strong production, a stable economy. Continue working in this direction", - concluded the Governor.
According to the government of the Yaroslavl region, despite the pandemic in the region continued the implementation of major investment projects. So, for example, JSC "ODK-Saturn" in January – June produced almost two times more than in the same period of 2019. Significantly increased the indicators of shipbuilding plant "Vympel" and Yaroslavl shipbuilding plant in the pharmaceutical industry – the company "R-Pharm". OJSC "Raskat" increased production of road rollers by 18%.
