VTSIOM: the majority of Russians have a positive attitude to Lukashenko

More than half of Russians have a positive attitude to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, testify the results of the poll.

According to the study, 52% of respondents answered that they have a positive attitude to Lukashenka, 35% feel indifferent, and 9% negative feelings.

It is noted that among the positive feelings that 34% of respondents expressed a respect, 18% - the sympathy, and 14% trust. Among the negative feelings 7 percent distrust and 5% disappointment, and among neutral 22% indifference.

The initiative Russian opinion "polls-Sputnik" held on 21 July 2020 among 1.6 thousand of Russians over 18 years through telephone interviews using a stratified random sample of dibasic landline and mobile numbers. The sample extracted from the complete list of phone numbers involved in the territory of the Russian Federation. For a given sample size the maximum error with 95% probability does not exceed 2.5%.
