The representative of the schemamonk Sergius: the Orthodox Church does not own Sredneuralskaya convent

None of the buildings on the territory Sredneuralskaya convent belongs to the Yekaterinburg diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, all things were created by private money, said to RIA Novosti on Saturday, a representative of the schema-monk Sergius Vsevolod Moguchev, noting that the schema-monk is not the owner.

On Friday, the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill has approved the earlier decision of the court of the Yekaterinburg diocese, who was deprived of schemamonk Sergius of dignity. The Yekaterinburg diocese said that father Sergius should leave the monastery. Meanwhile, schemamonk said it has no plans to leave them based Sredneuralskaya convent.

"Legally none of the buildings on the territory of the monastery belongs to the diocese. This is due to the fact that a penny on the construction of those or other things at the monastery the diocese never in the history of its existence is not isolated," says Moguchev.

According to him, on the contrary, the diocese has "only asked for and received money" from Sredneuralskaya convent, "despite the fact that there are many statements of the Holy fathers that it is impossible to take money from the construction of monasteries."

In a press-service of the Yekaterinburg diocese has refused to comment on these statements, noting that on this occasion everything said earlier.

The spiritual father and founder of Sredneuralskaya convent father Sergius found himself in the spotlight after he began to speak in sermons that COVID-19 - a "pseudopodia" that Russians want to put in the "e-camp of Satan", "the wicked put on the self-isolation", deprived of "freedom and work". The diocese deprived him of his right to preach, but the cleric did not listen and continued in sermons to encourage the congregation to take to the streets to protest, but those who close churches, cursed. Because of this, the ecclesiastical court stripped him of his dignity.

In the administrative case about the dissemination of incorrect information he was fined 90 thousand rubles, and in the framework of the case under article 20.3.1 of the administrative code "inciting hatred or hostility, and humiliation of human dignity" – 18 thousand rubles.
