Social networks Twitter and Facebook has deleted the accounts 16 the allies of Brazilian President Zaira Bolsonaro suspected of spreading false news.

Earlier a court in Brazil has demanded to block the accounts and threatened to impose on the company a daily fine in the amount of 20 thousand reais (about 3.8 thousand dollars) in case of default.

In a statement, Twitter says that "acted strictly in accordance with the court order in the case to the Federal Supreme court." In turn, Facebook said in a statement that "respects the judiciary and executes a valid court order".

This decision affected one of the most famous supporters of the President Luciano Hanga (Luciano Hang) and one of his political allies, Robert Jefferson (Roberto Jefferson), national Chairman of the Brazilian labour party (PTB).

Among those who lost their accounts, there are entrepreneurs, activists, one youtuber, bloggers, military and advisers to the parliamentarians, the supporters of Bolsonaro.
