In Portland arrested 18 people during protests

Eighteen people were detained in Portland, Oregon, since the beginning of the week for participating in the protests, according to the website of the US Department of justice.

"The U.S. attorney Billy J. Williams announced today that 18 people were arrested and this week they will be charged under Federal law for their involvement in a recent night protest... in Portland," - said in the message.

According to court documents, on may 26 in the city are rioting, the protesters attacked the law enforcement officers, destroy property, documented looting, arson and acts of vandalism.
