Klishas said the consideration of the bill on the Senate ex-President

"Bills have their own logic - both legal and political, in terms of submission and consideration of including. We don't all run to make. The Constitution is a political instrument, and the laws pursuant to the amendments will be made according to the logic of the political process, including after a proper legal consideration", - said Klishas.
The initiative to amend the Constitution was made by the head of state Vladimir Putin, filling the message to the Federal Assembly on 15 January 2020. Changes on the new requirements set out by the President, Cabinet members and government officials of different levels, consolidate the social guarantees of the state to the citizens, to change the terms of reference of the Parliament, prohibits the alienation of Federal territories, establish the status of the Russian language. In addition, the amendments allow the incumbent President to run again for the post in 2024.
Voting on amendments to the basic law of the Russian Federation took place from 25 June to 1 July, they were supported and entered into force on 4 July.
