The Bulgarian Parliament approves government reshuffle
The people's Assembly (Parliament) of Bulgaria at its meeting on Friday approved changes in the government, headed by Boyko Borisov, according to the Agency Focus.
Earlier Borisov against the backdrop of raging protests announced the resignation of the Ministers of Finance, economy, internal Affairs and tourism. He noted that the resignation submitted by the Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov, Minister of economy Emil Karanikolov, interior Minister Mladen Marinov and tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova. According to the Premier, as Minister of Finance should take the current health Minister Kiril Ananiev, the post of Minister of internal Affairs former chief police Commissioner Hristo Terziiski. the Minister of tourism will be Mariana Nikolova, Minister of health - Mr. Kostadin Angelov.
For a change of government members voted 116 parliamentarians, 89 against. Deputies accepted the resignation of four Ministers, a list of new appointees remained unchanged.
The protesters after the announcement of the premiere Thursday still took to the streets. Protests in Bulgaria continue from 9 July. They started in Sofia with thousands of actions in support of the President rumen Radeva, who in February said the loss of the government's trust.
