Iran's foreign Ministry commented on the incident with flying to Beirut by plane
Tehran will take necessary measures after studying the circumstances of the incident with the plane flying to Lebanon, reported the official representative the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Iran Abbas Mousavi.
"The details of this incident are studied. After collecting the data there will be a political and legal measures," said Mousavi, to be published by an office application.
He also said that the permanent representative of Iran to the UN Majid Takht-Ravanchi contacted the UN Secretary-General antónio Guterres after the incident, saying that Iran would take the US responsible for any incident that happens to the plane during his return to Iran.
The same message, he said, was handed to the Swiss Ambassador in Tehran, which represents US interests.
Earlier it was reported about the convergence of fighters with Iranian passenger plane of the airline Mahan Air, flying from Tehran to Beirut. Intercepting an Iranian airliner fighters were American, said the broadcasting company IRIB, citing data from the flight crew.
Iranian media first reported that several people were injured when the pilot of the plane tried to leave from collision with the fighters. In turn, the head of the Lebanese red cross, George katana told television channel al-Jadid, among the passengers wounded.
