Russian investigators have asked in absentia to arrest a Moldovan politician Renato Usatyi on charges of currency fraud, told RIA Novosti in the Tver court of Moscow.
In late April, the interior Ministry reported that Baleen in absentia brought accusation on the case of the withdrawal of Russia together with the oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuc 500 billion rubles.
"The court received the petition on the correspondence of the measure of restraint in form of detention. Judicial hearing is scheduled on 24 July," - said in court.

The investigation calls it a party to the international criminal community, which in 2013-2014 allowed hundreds of billions of rubles from Russia through Moldovan Moldindconbank.
