The OSCE Chairman, the Prime Minister of Albania EDI Rama on Thursday welcomed the agreement on ceasefire on the line of demarcation in the Donbass.

He expressed support for the efforts of the Trilateral contact group in the "Channel format", said the need to start from the parties demonstrated the political will and called for the full implementation of the Minsk agreements and decisions of the Normandy summit in Paris in December 2019.

Rama noted that the contribution to the peaceful resolution of the crisis in and around Ukraine remains a priority for the Albanian chairmanship of the OSCE in 2020. "We will continue to support the improvement of the security situation and alleviating the hardships of the civilian affected by the conflict in the East of Ukraine", - said Rama.
