China has promised to respond to the closure of the Consulate General in Houston
China will take retaliatory measures on the U.S. decision to close Chinese Consulate General in Houston, said Thursday the official representative the Ministry of foreign Affairs of China Wang Wenbin.
Previously, the newspaper South China Morning Post reported, citing sources, that China is considering closing the U.S. Consulate General in Chengdu in the southwestern province of Sichuan in response to similar action against the Chinese Consulate General in Houston.
