Degtyarev did not rule out tougher measures because COVID-19 in Khabarovsk Krai
Acting Governor of Khabarovsk Krai Mikhail Degtyarev said that the number of beds for treatment of patients with coronavirus infection in the region at the limit, perhaps a tightening of security measures.
"Visited the regional hospital where many injured patients with coronavirus. Bedspace we are almost at the limit of region, in this regard, we will make decisions on the deployment of an additional bed stock ... talked to the Ministry of health. Will the Minister request additional ventilators and personal protective equipment. There is an agreement with the Moscow government ... Perhaps even in Moscow will take staff, equipment and PPE", - he told reporters.
Degtyarev noted that the PRC expressed support to the region and preparing the delivery of a PPE.
"The risk of increased morbidity, number of beds almost to the limit, and we, together with the CPS will make the decision. Perhaps the tightening of the regime (no restrictions on coronavirus – ed.), the relief of the question. Those who are trying to Express that it is connected with voting for the amendments to the Constitution are stupid. The voting was throughout the country, and the growth in the Khabarovsk territory. Perhaps it stems from the fact that people do not respect the distance and the action that the CPS recommended. Possible tightening. But the decision is still pending", he added.
Degtyarev also said that in the near future plans to visit a number of hospitals in the region.
