Russia has sent a note to the state Department after a police assault on journalists
The Russian Embassy in the United States sent a protest note to the state Department in connection with the attack of the police on the film crew of channel one, said the Ambassador Anatoly Antonov.
The incident occurred during the coverage of protests in Portland. The journalists were filming a report on the riots, which was besieged by the local court.
