The wearing of masks in the U.S. capital Washington will be mandatory, according to the Washington Post, citing the upcoming order of mayor Muriel Bowser.

According to the newspaper, in accordance with the decree, all state residents will have to wear masks when leaving the house. An exception will be made only for children under three years, as well as for people performing intense sports exercise and when eating.

"In most cases, if you are out, you should wear a mask", - the newspaper quoted the Bowser.
