Permanent mission of Russia to the OSCE condemned the attack on journalists in the US
Permanent mission of the Russian Federation to the OSCE strongly condemned the police attack on journalists "First channel" in Portland and called on American colleagues to comply with decision of the OSCE Ministerial Council on the safety of journalists.
Previously RIA Novosti reported that Russian journalists were attacked by American police while covering protests in Portland. They filmed a report about the riots, which was besieged by the local court. The building housed the Federal law enforcement forces entered the city, despite the dissatisfaction of the local authorities. Both attacked the journalist was with the badges with the inscription "Press".
"We strongly condemn the police attack on journalists @channelone_rus covering the protests in Portland. Calls American colleagues to comply with decision of the OSCE Ministerial Council on the safety of journalists", - stated in the message of the permanent mission on Twitter.
This is not the first case when the American police actions affect journalists.
