Deripaska compared the Putin's course with the course Roosevelt

Billionaire Oleg Deripaska considers that the support of the Russians amendments to the Constitution, not that other as making citizens aware of the country's authorities and compared it with the program of Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal (New deal), which led the US economy out of the great depression in the 1930-ies.

"The results of the referendum that the liberal circles so easily called zeroing, in fact, it seems to me, there is nothing like the acceptance by the majority of Russian society a new 16-year-old contract as a NEW DEAL program — the new agreement, which came Roosevelt in the 30s, and who led America out of the depression, turning it into a great and prosperous economy for all," Deripaska wrote in his telegram channel.

"Our referendum highlighted the willingness of our population to give a chance to all the control technostructure Russia (not just the President), nearly 1000 managers, strategic decisions for the whole country with the aim of providing the country economy with medium income," - said the billionaire.

According to him, "this means an increase in income of 60% of the population, which today is less than 5 thousand euros per year (according to state statistics — less than 360 thousand rubles), to a minimum annual income of 15 thousand euros by the end of the 16-year period".

"And, of course, this responsibility is not only on the President but on all officials, including heads of private and state-owned companies, members of government and heads of regions," - says Oleg Deripaska.

The initiative to amend the Constitution was made by the head of state Vladimir Putin, filling the message to the Federal Assembly on 15 January 2020. In addition, the amendments allow the incumbent President to run again for the post in 2024.
