In the Leningrad region will appear new tourist routes
In the Leningrad region plans to create new tourist routes, tourist and recreational clusters and to develop river tourism, said in an interview with RIA Novosti, the Governor of the region Alexander Drozdenko.
"Realizing that people want less mass formats, we are actively creating new routes, first of all, ecotrail, which will attract individual tourists," he said.
According to him, also in Vsevolozhsk area it is planned to create tourist and recreational cluster "Toksovskoe" in Volkhovsky district — "old Ladoga".
"In the Leningrad region a lot of interesting tourist sites: the Ancient Vyborg, Tikhvin, with its great spiritual and cultural heritage of the fortress in Koporye, Ivangorod, Priozersk, monasteries in the Lodeynoye pole district, the wonderful nature of Podporozhie. And there are still unique Soviet architecture, engineering heritage — the city's first five Volkhov, Syas'stroy, there is something to see specialists, connoisseurs of industrial design 20-30 years", — said the Governor.
