Hostage-taking in Lutsk will hold a psychiatric examination
The man who held hostages in a bus in the center of Lutsk, conduct a psychiatric examination and will elect a measure of restraint, said Deputy Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko.
On Tuesday, the man in the center of Lutsk seized a bus with passengers, and if he had explosives and weapons, the security service of Ukraine has classified it as a terrorist attack. According to militiamen, the malefactor has put forward the General requirements and stated dissatisfaction with the system, demanding in particular that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has recorded a video message urging them to watch the movie "Earthlings". After negotiations that lasted more than 10 hours, Zelensky has done, then managed to release all 13 hostages that were in the bus. The man was detained. Zelensky then his video was removed.
"Then it is waiting for the judicial procedure, he will be arrested, he will be a preventive measure, obviously, this is detention without alternatives, and it will continue to be responsible for what he did. He is charged with a terrorist act, hostage-taking. But due to the fact that no one died, maybe he will get a life sentence and a long prison term," - said Gerashchenko on air of TV channel NewsOne.
He added that the man will hold a psychiatric examination.
"Always in such cases a psychiatric examination, and it will be held", - said Gerashchenko.
