Nepalese authorities plan to resume international flights in August
The government of Nepal has decided to resume international and domestic flights from August 17, Minister of tourism Yogesh Bhattarai.
The government of Nepal on 20 March banned all passengers, including the Nepalese, to enter the country from the territory of the European Union and the UK, West Asia, the Gulf countries and Iran, Turkey, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan. Four days later domestic and international flights were suspended to avoid the spread of the coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the government of Nepal has upheld the 14-day quarantine for visitors.
According to the latest data, the country marked more than 17.8 thousand cases of coronavirus, 40 people were killed.
