Poland will receive about 160 billion euros from the Fund to restore EU

Poland will receive about 160 billion euros from the recovery Fund of the EU, said on Tuesday in Brussels, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

At the EU summit it was about the recovery Fund of the EU. Also at the summit discussed the financial plan of the EU 2021-2027 years.

"Poland will receive about 125 billion euros in direct subsidies. This is the amount that never was," said Morawiecki, adding that together with the loans the amount you receive Poland will amount to approximately 160 billion euros.

He also said that the parties "agreed on 600 million euros for the regions that require more funds for the infrastructure development of the poorer regions".

In addition, according to Moravcova, during negotiations, it was possible to avoid linking the allocation of funds of the budget of the EU to the rule of law. "Good supervision means from the point of view of fiscal discipline and at the same time there is no direct communication of the so-called rule of law with the budget funds in question", - he said.

"Moreover, as we have agreed with the legal services, this mechanism needs to be developed, will both be subject to verification of the European Council. The European Council - it is clearly written - it is unanimity. Without the consent of Hungary, without the consent of Poland, without the consent of the Visegrad group this doesn't work," concluded the Polish Prime Minister.
