Cyprus will receive from the resources of the European Union, 2.7 billion euros

Cyprus will receive more than EUR 2.7 billion of multi-year EU budget and from the Fund of economic recovery, said the President of Cyprus Nikos Anastasiadis.

"I Express my full satisfaction, because after many days of intensive negotiations, Cyprus reached the economic goals he set in connection with the multi-year plan and the recovery plan of the European Union. More specifically, after the agreement is reached Cyprus will be able to obtain more than 2.7 billion euros. The amount of $ 1,451 billion euros will go from the multi-year financial plan for the years 2021-2027, and the remainder from the recovery Fund, aimed at eliminating the consequences of the pandemic and promote the development of the Cypriot economy," Anastasiades wrote on his page in Facebook.

According to him, in detail on the distribution of funds in the next few days will tell the Minister of Finance.
