In the state Duma introduced a draft on the prohibition of commissions for transfers within the same Bank
A group of deputies headed by Sergey Mironov in the state Duma introduced a bill that prohibits the charging of fees for transfer of funds between Bank accounts and card customers within the same Bank, you should from the database of the lower house of Parliament.
"In an unprecedented high profits of credit institutions in which they can afford the increase in net interest margin amid nedorabotannost of the Russian economy, it seems reasonable the need to shift the balance of interests between credit institutions and citizens-clients of banks", - stated in the explanatory Memorandum.
"After the abolition of the "Bank roaming" a number of major banks have introduced fee for intrabank transfers more than 50 thousand rubles per month. Thus, banks found a new way to compensate for the previously lost income that they received "from the air". This is unacceptable, and it must come to an end," – said Mironov, reports his press-service.
The report also notes that, according to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, in 2019, the net profit of Russian banks amounted to 1.7 trillion rubles. With more than 20% different fee income for bankers, I believe the SRS.
"It turns out that huge profits bankers have not with the lending industry, small or medium business, not even with the proverbial mortgage and consumer loans, and small commissions that are hidden in the amount of any payment. The profit is dripping from a small penny, a paltry fraction of a percent, but then all of this add up giant amounts. In fact, these are the money that the bankers just pulled out of the pockets of the Russians," – says Mironov.
