The Vologda authorities don't change your plans by record tourist arrivals in 2030

The government of the Vologda region maintains plans to attract in the region of five million tourists in 2030, in spite of the complicated epidemic situation, said in an interview with RIA Novosti, the Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov.

"To revise the target of 5 million tourists (per year — Approx. ed.) by 2030 is not planned yet. Let's see how to work out the year 2021, given the overall emphasis on the development of domestic tourism in light of the fact that tourism can return to "decoloniality" level only a few years," he said.

Assessment Kuvshinnikova, tourism against the background of the pandemic coronavirus made a "hard landing" and was one of the most affected branches of economy of the Vologda region.

Thus, according to the Governor of the Vologda region, unfavorable epigastrica can encourage the development of regional tourism, facilitating in particular the implementation of historical and cultural tourist project "Silver necklace of Russia", which is a priority for the region.
