Charge d'affaires of Russia in Libya Dzhamshed Boltaev told RIA Novosti that the Libyan side has not yet confirmed information about the release of the Russians in Libya.
Earlier, two Arab TV channel Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath claimed, citing sources, that the national consensus Government (NTC) of Libya allegedly transferred to Turkey contained in the Libyan prison of the Russians Maxim Shugaley and Samir Safana.
Commenting RIA Novosti the messages, the Russian diplomat pointed out that "the charge d'affaires of Libya in Moscow (Mustafa Abu Saed) confirmed (this information)".
Earlier it was reported that the Russian foreign Ministry has received written assurances from the Government of national consensus (NTC) of Libya, which controls Tripoli, the problem with the release of the Russians Shugaley and Safana from the Libyan prison will be resolved in the near future.
