Biden is ahead of trump in popularity by 15 percent, the survey showed
Former Vice-President and most likely Democratic party candidate in the presidential election, Joe Biden is ahead on the popularity of incumbent President Donald trump by 15%, according to a survey by the Washington Post and ABC News.
Survey participants were asked to answer the question for whom they would vote if elections were held on the same day. The rating Biden among the surveyed registered voters was 55%, trump — 40%.
The survey was conducted July 12-15 by telephone a random sample of 1006 adults among Americans, including 845 registered voters. The statistical margin of error — plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
The United States presidential election will be held in November.
