Began transportation of the launch pad for "Angara" on the Northern sea route
The pad for the carrier rocket "Angara" began to transport via the Northern sea route from Severodvinsk at the Eastern spaceport.
"In Severodvinsk finishes unique transport operation on transportation launch new carrier rocket "Angara". System with a total mass of more than 2000 tons loaded on the boat "Barents", which is already out of the waters of the shipyard "Zvezdochka", - is spoken in the message published on the website of the Center for exploitation of ground space infrastructure.
The ship will pass through the Arctic ocean, Bering Strait, Bering and Okhotsk seas to the port of Sovetskaya Gavan. The equipment will overload the barge and along the rivers Amur and Zeya delivered to the spaceport in mid-September.
The construction of the launch complex for the Angara rocket is on the East in 2019.
Earlier it was reported that the first launch of "Angara-A5" from the East is expected in August-September 2023 with unmanned spacecraft "eagle".
