The EAEU is ready to consider the formats of dialogue with partners, said Mishustin
Eurasian economic Union welcomes the commitment to cooperation and ready to consider different formats of dialogue with other partners, primarily from CIS countries, said the Chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
At the meeting of the Eurasian intergovernmental Council on Friday, the Russian Prime Minister noted that the sphere of attraction of the EEU is gradually expanding. The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, in particular, welcomed the connection of the permanent representative of Moldova to the Eurasian economic Commission (EEC).
"Official bid for the status of observer state to the EAEU submitted by Cuba and Uzbekistan. We support such commitment, willing to consider different formats of dialogue with other partners and, above all, from the Commonwealth of Independent States," - said Mishustin.
During the meeting of the intergovernmental Council he also presented to colleagues the new Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian development Bank Nikolay Podguzova, who was appointed to this position on June 29.
"I am confident that under his leadership the Bank as a development institution should focus its activities on the promotion of major important for the member States of the Union, integration projects, primarily in the digital sphere", - said the head of the Cabinet of the Russian Federation.
He mentioned that Podguzov has extensive experience in the public service and in the banking sector
