Headquarters Tikhanovski, Babariko and Tsepkalo are planning pickets in Minsk
The candidate in presidents of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovski stated that her headquarters and headquarters which have not been registered as candidates Valery Tsepkalo and Victor Babariko plan to hold pickets in Minsk and other cities of the country.
Headquarters Tikhanovski, as well as the commands which have not been registered as candidates by the ex-head of administration of Park of high technologies Tsepkalo and the former head of Belgazprombank, Babariko said Thursday that he decided to join efforts with the goal of holding fair elections in the country. They also noted that they intend to hold a second fair elections after the August 9, 2020.
"Of course, the agitation will be held very tight, that's why we United our efforts. Naturally, all information will provide later. Pickets are planned in Minsk and regional cities of Belarus. I hope we'll be able to touch and even the district," said Tikhanovski at a joint press conference with the staffs of Babariko and Tsepkalo, which was broadcast online.
"Not enough time, but we will do everything we can," said she.
In Belarus, the campaign for the presidential election, primary election day scheduled for 9 August. CEC registered candidates for the presidency five people, denying two. Incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko is running for a sixth term. Passing the campaign was accompanied by the arrests of opposition politicians and activists, as well as unauthorized protests.
